RWE is leading global energy company, is dedicated to achieving carbon neutrality by 2040. We’re looking for innovative solutions to accelerate the deployment of renewable energy sources. We are open to research collaborations and pilot projects anywhere in the world. Recently, RWE received a permit for the construction of Hollandse Kust West (HKW) VII, a large-scale offshore wind farm in the North Sea. This project will provide over 760 MW of offshore wind capacity, enough to power nearly one million Dutch homes. It represents a real step towards our goal of reaching 8 GW of offshore wind capacity by 2030. Leveraging our extensive experience, we have developed a unique concept for the project. Our ultimate aim is to achieve a harmonious balance between energy supply and demand. We combine offshore wind and solar energy with innovative solutions such as green hydrogen production, flexible demand technologies, and storage systems. These advancements are not only useful to the energy sector but also to other industries, enabling them to balance energy use, electrify processes, and generate their own feedstock. Through our pioneering efforts, RWE is transforming the energy landscape and providing a blueprint for sustainability across industries.
