ANNOUNCEMENT SELECTED STARTUPS

Per challenge, the most promising startups and scale-ups will be invited to pitch their solutions to the challenge setters during the Sustainable Industry Challenge. The announcement of the selected companies will be done latest December 12th.
FINAL
7 & 8 Januari 2020
The selected companies will be invited for one-on-one business meetings during the final event of the Sustainable Industry Challenge on January 7 and 8. The most relevant companies will develop a pilot project with the challenge setters and gain invaluable access to the network of the Chemport Europe region.
An independent jury will decide on the overall winner that will also be awarded a 100k cash prize for further development within the region. This will be determined based on the answer to the question: ‘How will your technology accelerate the transition of regional industrial companies towards a sustainable future?’

DAY 1
Pitches and Dealmaking Sessions
We start this two-day event by pairing up scale-ups with challenge setters, so you can get to know each other and talk more in depth about the suggested solution to their challenge. This is your first chance to secure deals with our innovation partners.
DAY 2
Matchmaking event, dealmaking sessions, final deliberations and on stage battle
We continue with the dealmaking sessions. After a nice lunch, we travel to a different location for the matchmaking event. Decisions are made and collaborations are formed, plus we invite innovators to compete for the title of most promising scale-up in the Chemport Europe region.
